Every move is a value in a document. A stop of exposure, a highlight recovery, a point on a curve. No model redraws your pixels, so faces do not shift, skin does not turn to plastic, and detail that was never in the frame does not appear in it. Nothing to check afterwards, because it is a property of the renderer rather than a promise about a prompt.
It learns from what you do, not what you say. The look you settle on, and which suggestions you reach for, are choices made in the same controls it uses, so your taste is legible to it, not a shrug. The more you edit, the closer its first pass lands to yours. No generative editor can learn this way: it hands you pixels, and there is nothing of your taste in a pixel.
Each adjustment arrives with a reason in photographic terms and lands in the history as its own labelled step. Undo a single move or the entire run in one click. When it is genuinely unsure, it asks you rather than guessing.

The numbers were clean — no clipping, no noise — so it was all mood. I cooled the frame toward icy blue and deepened the sky, then eased the highlights back when the snow began to clip.
