Your photo never leaves your device. JPEG, HEIC, PNG, WebP, or camera RAW on a computer, up to 200MB.

Warmth is the quickest way to change how a photo feels. A few degrees toward amber and the same picture goes from chilly to nostalgic. A few too many, and everyone looks sunburnt.

More than one slider

Turning up the temperature warms everything evenly, which isn’t how evening light looks. Low sun is warm in the bright parts while the shadows stay a little cooler. So Loupe usually warms the white balance a touch, then adds amber to the brighter tones with colour grading, and watches the skin so it doesn’t turn orange.

Things you can say next

  • “Warmer, like October.”
  • “Golden hour, but keep the sky blue.”
  • “Less orange on the skin.”
  • “Warm and a bit faded, like an old print.”

It can’t move the sun

Warming changes the colour of the light, not where it comes from. A flat, overcast photo will look warmer but still flat, because there are no long shadows or bright edges for the warmth to catch on. A little contrast and a soft vignette help. Anything more would mean repainting the photo, and Loupe doesn’t do that.

Can it make it look like sunset?

It can give the photo the colour of sunset light. It can’t add a sun or change where the shadows fall, because it never redraws the photo.

Is it free?

Your first edit needs no account at all. After that, a free account gets ten AI edits a month, and every slider in the editor is free to use by hand.

Will it change faces?

No. Loupe only changes light and colour, never the shape of anything, so people look exactly like themselves.

Does my photo get uploaded?

The photo stays in your browser. To see what it’s working with, the assistant gets a small preview, at most 512 pixels across, which is not stored.
